On arrival we were greeted on time. Also, they really worked everything out with us to ensure we would be able to meet face to face. They took us for a walk through, told us of a couple places that were around where we could buy our essentials (water, paper towels etc). They also sent us an places where we could eat, a map of where things were (metro, pubs etc) which was very helpful and we really appreciated as well. The place was very clean and was ready for us to stay in. Everything was near by (walking distance) and if you had to cab you didn’t have to spend too much on it. Overall, I had an amazing stay and they were very lenient on check out as long as you let them know ahead of time. Definitely, 100% will stay here again!

This condo is fantastic! The pictures are very accurate – bed was super comfortable and there was an extra queen mattress as well which was also good. The apartment was quiet, sunny, and so centrally located to all sorts of activities in downtown Montreal. We are there for the Montreal Jazz Festival which was just a few blocks away. It was a very close walk into Chinatown as well. The bathroom is spacious with a large shower and separate tub. The arrangements to get in were easy and communication before getting there was responsive and helpful!

Really clean, great location and friendly owners. We did an excellent food tour in Mile End. The apartment is an easy walk to the Old Port and St Paul’s street. Good transport links to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. A great place to stay!!

The appartment isd well located near the saint catherine street and the quartier des spectacles. Ideally located to discover Montréal by foot. The appartment looks like a new one, it is a clean and well furnish.

Amanda’s place was fantastic. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. Amanda was easy to communicate with and check in and check out were convenient. The location is great and within walking distance to the old port, downtown, McGill area, Plateau area, Saint Laurent etc. If you don’t want to walk, there is a metro station very close which is easy to access. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Brian (the property owner) met John and me on Thursday at 1:30pm to give us keys, arrange check out and a quick tour of the property. He was very welcoming and made our stay enjoyable.

The condo is newly renovated with a comfortable living space, cozy bedroom and beautiful kitchen with electric stove and dishwasher and in-unit washer/dryer. Very fast wifi and fresh linens were provided.

Parking: there’s metered spots out front at $2/hr, free overnight. If you have an international plan or access to wifi, you can even load the meter via a smartphone app. There are three overnight parking lots ($10 – $20 per day) within a 5 minute walking distance; one of which is garaged.

Location: The condo is Ideally located within a 1 minute walk to the middle of St. Catherine’s street. There is a huge underground mall with access to currency exchange and an SAQ (Liquor Store) if you take a left on St. Carherine’s street and walk straight for less than 5 minutes. Old Montreal’s Port is only a 10 minute walk and comes alive at night.

Transportation: the condo is centrally located near 3 different Metro stops. We purchased a 3-day metro card for $18. Uber/taxis are also available at a rate of $3.45 CAN per km.

Dining: Schwartz’s deli is a world famous deli (about a 15-20 minute walk) surrounded by great shopping along the way. Cachitos is the best place to go for breakfast, just around the corner from the apartment (left on St. Catherine’s). For an elegant dinner and an amazing menu I recommend making reservations at the following (these places are popular so book in advance):

1. Au Pied Du Cochon

2. Joe Beef

3. Garde Manger

There is also an amazing indoor/outdoor marketplace at Jean Talon (20 minutes by Metro on the orange line). It was so overwhelming that we spent 3+ hours there. There’s lots of locally farmed produce and fresh meats, cheeses, seafood, etc. The condo has plenty of cookware so we were able to enjoy a few home cooked meals to save money. TIP: go hungry (lots of free samples and street carts) and bring your own bag.

Attractions: I recommend spending half a day at the old Olympic Park (20 minutes by Metro) to see the Botanical gardens and ride up the 45 degree elevator which overlooks Montreal. If you have children, there’s a neat Insectarium and Biodome nearby. Look online for various activities and events in the park (we took art lessons in the botanical gardens).

We also enjoyed white water rafting (15 minutes from downtown)

I highly recommend this property and will consider it when we visit again! Thanks for such a wonderful visit.
