Being the largest city in the province of Quebec, it’s situated between the St. Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers, and was named as North America’s leading city to host international events, an honor bestowed in 2009.

With all it has going for it, there’s little wonder why Montreal was chosen to host the annual Osheaga music festival. This three-day wonderland is jam-packed with great music, good people and all ages fun for everyone, and concludes each day at 11:00 p.m. for those that either want to sleep off the day or take the party vibe to the streets.
During the festival, there are several events and after parties that take place so you can be sure you’re getting the most fun for your money. Osheaga attracts not only music lovers from all around the world but big name acts, too, like Outkast, Jack White and Skrillex, who take to the stage in a blur of sound and fury that pleases the ear like nothing else. Taking place in late July and early August of every year, Osheaga fans get to enjoy their music in warm, sunny weather but the show goes on in rain or shine, and it is generally good practice to be prepared for all weather situations that might arise.
