This condo-style apartment was recently renovated, it is clean, quiet, with a youthful, fresh style. It’s also perfectly located in the upscale neighborhood of Outremont. HEC, UdM, Polytech universities 5 min walking distance.

The space

Bright, airy, large, 700 square feet apartment on the fourth floor of a quiet building, in a vibrant neighborhood, close to everything. a 15 minute bus ride from downtown, and 10 minutes from the Plateau, and right in the heart of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Montreal. With lots of restaurants, unique boutiques, multicultural fare, universities, bike paths, next to the Park Mont-Royal, and much more. There are a few bars and pubs in the area, but most are in the plateau or downtown area which is just 10 minutes by bus. There is free outdoor parking all around the building according to street signs.

Guest access

All of the space is yours, except any already occupied storage area. ANYTHING in boxes and their content is off-limits.

The apartment has a queen-sized bed in the bedroom that comfortably fits 2, an 8 foot-long couch in the living room, with removable back cushions which turns into a very comfortable single bed. I also have an inflatable deluxe queen-sized air mattress available for groups of 4-5 guests, and plenty of space to set it up in the living room. I provide full bedding and pillows for the 2 queen-sized beds, and single-sized-bed couch. My apartment comfortably houses 5 guests.

It includes a 42-inch Smart TV, wi-fi, climate-control state-of-the-art AC, toiletries, a fully-equipped kitchen, ALTHOUGH you will need to purchase your own groceries and condiments in order to cook, utensils, pots and pans are provided.

Interaction with guests

I will be available via phone or text during your stay, and will usually be there in person to give you the keys, and answer any questions you might have.

The neighbourhood

This is a beautiful neighborhood, full of trees, free activities, young families, young professionals, undergraduate and graduate students. There are 3 universities within a 15 minute walking distance (University of Montreal, Polytechnique, and HEC), as well as a huge community garden for the entire neighborhood located across the street. A small park next to that garden, and a large one just 2 blocks from my apartment building (3 minute walking distance) which has: tennis courts, basketball courts, a free outdoor pool (with showers, change rooms, picnic tables, lounge chairs and lifeguards), an outdoor track, soccer fields, a free water park, playground, and various outdoor art pieces. As well as a free play center for pre-teens and teens ages: 11 to 18, which has full-time staff, weekly activities, TVs, pool tables, and is a supervised hangout for neighborhood kids, and teens. So it is both a youthful, vibrant neighborhood, and yet family-friendly.

Getting around

There are 2 metros located within a 10 minute walking distance, and the buses taking you to each metro are a 30 second walk from the building, and run all night. Far enough not to be heard daily when indoors, but close enough that you never have to walk far to get anywhere, you also do not need to pay for a cab to get back from any nightlife.

Other things to note

There is a kitty usually living on the premises but I take her away when renting out the space, and the apartment is thoroughly cleaned before each guest arrives. But I wanted to provide full disclosure for those deathly allergic to cats.

Please behave as if this was your apartment, and try to leave the residence as you found it. Absolutely no smoking inside, no pets allowed, and please avoid walking with shoes in the apt. Essentials in the: kitchen such as cutleries, pots, pans, plates and glasses are provided. In the bedroom such as linens, etc., bathroom (toiletries, linens, laundry soap), and living room (books to read) are included in the stay. Please don’t take anything out of the apartment that doesn’t belong to you, any lost, broken, or missing items will be taken out of the damage deposit.

I also require for the person booking the apt to have verified ID with me. Once you check-in to the sublet, please sign a sublet agreement with me. So as to ensure the security of my building, neighbors, property, and to acquiesce with terms given to me by my landlord in regards to these short-term rentals.
